Qualifications for NDA
Eligibility Criteria:

Nationality:

Citizen of India or
A subject of Bhutan, or
A subject of Nepal, or
A Tibetan refugee who came to India before January 1, 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India.
A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, and East African countries with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Age Limit:

Candidates must be between 16.5 to 19.5 years old.
Educational Qualification:

For Army Wing: 10 2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board.
For Air Force and Naval Wings: 10 2 or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics from a recognized board.
Marital Status: Only unmarried male and female candidates are eligible.

Height and Weight Standards:

Minimum acceptable height is 157 cm (For the Air Force it is 162.5 cm).
Weight should be proportionate to the height and age as per medical standards.
Chest:

The chest should be well developed. The minimum range of expansion after full inspiration should be 5 cm.
Vision Standards:

The visual standards vary for different services but generally, the acceptable vision is 6/6 for the better eye and 6/9 for the worse eye without glasses.
General Health:

No evidence of weak constitution, bodily defects, or underweight.
